Document the retained system

List actual model identifiers, condition, drawings, controller ownership, available signals and utility limits. Mark information as observed, supplier-confirmed or unknown. Retaining an asset is a project decision; it does not establish its compatibility with a new product or rate.

Compare complete boundaries

Compare offers under the same material, observation period and accepted-output definition. Include transfer, rejects, cleanability, utilities, controls and maintenance access. The fastest isolated machine may leave the original line constraint unchanged.

Convert the requirement into acceptance

For each proposed change, name the expected behavior, required evidence, test condition and responsible party. Include disturbances and changeover, not only a brief steady-state run. The workbench produces an initial review brief; a binding specification requires actual site data and engineering.
