Vacuum Deaerator Selection for Juice and Puree

Assess entrained air, foam, product viscosity and vacuum-service interfaces when deciding whether a deaerator belongs in a juice or puree route.

Describe the air problem

State where the product picks up air and how foam appears during transfer. Deaeration is selected for the stream and process objective, rather than added to every route by default.

Define the liquid condition

Include product temperature, viscosity method, fibres and particles. These details affect distribution inside the vessel and pumping into and away from it.

Coordinate vacuum and transfer

Review the vacuum service, condensate handling and outlet-pump conditions. A vacuum setting alone does not establish residual oxygen or the delivered product result.

Agree the acceptance evidence

Use an agreed product and measurement method if a deaeration result is required. Ask for the offered configuration and duty sheet rather than inferring performance from the vessel image.
